Cake and baking recipes - 370 recipes

Is it a bread? Is it a cake? A pastry? While a true definition of ‘cakes’ may be difficult to pin down, one thing is for sure – they are delicious! Cake is a form of bread and is generally a sweet baked dessert. Cakes today often contain a combination of flour, sugar, eggs, butter or oil, and perhaps milk or water. Some popular cakes include red velvet cupcakes, welsh cakes and fairy cakes.
Cakes are often great desserts at birthdays, parties, weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations.
