- 1 Tablespoon coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 Tablespoon pure cane sugar
- 3 Tablespoons whole wheat flour

Step 1
Microwave the butter in your mug until melted ( about 30-60 seconds).
Step 2
Pour the vanilla extract into the mug with the melted butter and stir. Mix the salt, pure cane sugar, and coconut sugar with the vanilla extract and butter until the granules of sugar and salt are well dissolved.
Step 3
Mix in the egg yolk with the mixture in the mug until the yolk is no longer visible.
Step 4
Add in the flour, whisk gently until all dry flour clumps are gone.
Step 5
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 6
Microwave on high for 30 seconds, if necessary microwave again for an additional 15-30 seconds.
Add a few extra chocolate chips on top before serving, or serve with ice cream to make it an extra special treat!
Be careful as the mug and cookie will be very hot!
