A snack is a portion of food often smaller than a regular meal and are generally enjoyed between meals, after school, before dinner or when the dreaded threethirtyitus hits. There are two main types of snacks – sweet and savoury.
Examples of snacks include; chocolate biscuits, red velvet cupcake , cheese bread sticks and potato crisps. Traditionally, snacks were prepared from leftovers at the home, such as meat sandwiches.
