  • 500gr lentils
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 spoons olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
  • Tomato puree (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and drain the lentils.

Step 2

In a pot add 6 mugs of water, the lentils, onions, garlic, bay leaves and tomato puree (optional).

Step 3

Boil on low heat for 30 mins

Step 4

Add the olive oil and salt and boil for 15 more mins or until the soup thickens

Step 5

Serve in a dish and add vinegar
