- 2 handfuls strawberries, plus extra to decorate
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar or caster sugar

Beetroot, Raisin & Stem Ginger Pudding with Bart Spices

Pour the golden syrup into the greased pudding basin and set aside
- You’ll need:
- 3tbsp golden syrup
- 100g vegetable suet
- 80g dark brown sugar
- 100g raisins
- 50g wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 50g self raising flour
- 1tsp Bart ground mixed spice
- 125g plain cooked (vacuum packed) beetroot, drained
- 3 eggs
- 100g stem ginger, finely chopped
- To serve:
- Crème fraiche or vanilla ice cream
- You will also need:
- 1 ½ pint pudding basin, well greased with butter
- Baking paper, string & tin foil

Pre-heat the oven to 140°C / fan 120°C / Gas Mark 1 and put the oven racks in the centre of the oven if possible
- 2 egg whites
- ¼ tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp Golden Syrup
- 60g caster sugar
- 60g white chocolate roughly chopped into small pieces
- – plus an extra (approx) 90g white chocolate to decorate - optional
- Edible sugar craft decorations or edible silver glitter - available at cake craft stores / online – or now in many supermarkets.

Break the chocolate into pieces
- 50 g dark chocolate
- 30 cl cream
- 150 ml milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 30 g sugar
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp orange peel (or zest)
White chocolate ice cream (without eggs or added sugar)

Smooth and creamy, easy to make and with only three ingredients!
- 150g white chocolate
- 240 ml milk
- 125 ml whipping cream ( I used low fat, so it not make a proper whipped cream, but it actually did not make a difference to the recipe)
