- Broccoli Florets - 1 1/2 cups (fresh or frozen)
- Onion - 1/2 (finely sliced)
- Oil - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 cloves (finely chopped)
- Chilli Flakes - a pinch (optional)
- Vegetable Stock - 500 ml
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Milk/Cream - 1/2 cup
- Fresh Cream - 2 teaspoon (for garnishing)

A healthy soup with broccoli and wild cabbage
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 carrot
- 4 cloves garlic
- 120ml dry white wine
- 2 – 3 medium heads of broccoli
- 750gr roughly chopped wild cabbage and/or spinach
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 1/2 littre organic vegetable stock
- 250ml milk (you can replace with double cream, I just wanted to be lighter)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- crème fraîche or sour creme (to garnish)
