Easy and Proper Hot Cross Buns

Hot Cross buns are very impressive but easy to make with little practice
- 500g Strong White Flour (Plain Flour works with extra as required)
- Pinch Salt
- 10g Yeast
- 80g Sugar
- 300 ml Milk (and extra)
- Water
- 1 egg
- 50g mixed peel
- 80g Sultanas
- 1 apple peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Cross
- Plain Flour
- Water
- Finish
- Four tablespoons of apricot jam
