- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsps bottled teriyaki sauce
- oil
- 125 g noodles (preferrably buckwheat)
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
Chicken Fried Rice

This is very simple and very filling
- splash of sesame oil
- 3 shallots, peeled and cut into quarters
- 225 g cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 1/2 tbsps soy sauce
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1/2 celery stick, diced
- 1/2 red pepper, deseeded and diced
- 85 g (3 oz) peas
- 50 g canned sweetcorn, drained
- 140 g cooked rice
- 1 egg
Chicken Noodle Soup

Quite easy to make and just a hint of Asian flavours to make it stand out
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 litre water
- 1/2 onion, with skin left on, cut in half
- 1/2 garlic clove, cut in half
- piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 black peppercorns, lightly crushed
- 2 cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1/2 celery stick, chopped
- 50 g baby corn cobs, sliced
- 1 spring onion, finely sliced
- 58 g (2 oz) dried rice vermicelli noodles
- 1/2 carrot, peeled and grated

- 2 wraps
- 50g grated cheese (whatever hard cheese you have available)

- 4 chicken thigh fillets - preferably organic
- 1 large or 2 small lemons
- ground black pepper
- 2 scallions
- MARINADE:
- 1 tablsp rice wine (or semi-dry white wine could be substituted)
- 11/2 tablsp. light soy sauce
- 11/2 tablsp. oyster sauce
- 2 teasps. sesame oil
- 1 tablsp. peanut or olive oil
- 2 teasps. sea salt
- 1 tablsp. brown sugar
