Preparation
Step 1
Boil the chicken bones for 60 minutes to allow the flavour to infuse into the soup, if you are wanting to liquidise the ingredients make sure you keep the bones in a sieve so you can easily remove them all without effecting your vegetables
Step 2
Allow the bones to cool before removing the remaining flesh, once you have done this return the flesh to the pot
Step 3
If you wish to add the extra vegetables in a solid form please add them at this point along with the flesh and the noodles and return the pot to the boil until the noodles are soft and the veg is cooked
Step 4
Place into a warm bowl and serve with a side of buttered bread, a good meal for anytime on these cold winter days
Partially liquidise your vegetables for a chunky texture, and the little kick of spice makes this extra warming for winter. But don't be afraid to let the chicken broth speak for itself.
