Step 1

Soak dried chillies in water.

Step 2

Blend red onions, garlic, turmeric, belacan, dried chillies, red chillies, ground coriander, ground cumin, ground fennel and vegetable oil in the blender.

Step 3

In the frying pan, add in the blended spices, coconut cream, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves and curry leaves. Pan-fry the paste for 10min.

Step 4

Add in chicken and stir them well.

Step 5

Add in potato, 2 red chillies and coconut milk.

Step 6

Add salt and sugar and cook for a while.

Step 7

Serve with rice or bread.
