- 8 day old doughnuts-cinnamon, plain or sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp allspice
- 1 tbsp nutmeg
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp milk
- 5 tbsp applesauce
- 1 cup vanilla pudding
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Candy Apple Mixture:
- 1-1/2 cup water
- 2 cup light corn syrup
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp red food coloring
- Garnishment:
- cinnamon sticks
- chopped toasted almonds
