Ingredients
- 480g self raising flour
- 5 tablespoons caster sugar
- 200ml semi skimmed milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 200g cherries (chopped)
- 100g butter
- Heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade

Preparation
Step 1
Place flour and butter into a bowl.
Step 2
Rub in butter to make crumbs, stir in sugar, beaten egg and milk to form dough.
Step 3
Chop the cherries and add them to the mixture.
Step 4
Turn onto lightly floured board and roll out and make into scones with scone cutter.
Step 5
Using a pasty brush lightly coat the top of the scones with milk.
Step 6
Bake in oven for 8_10 mins.
