- Self Raising Flour - 8 oz (225g)
- margarine - 2 oz (50g)
- Salt - pinch
- Marzipan - 2 oz (50g)
- cherry's - 2 ox (50g)
- milk - 2 table spoons (30ml)

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 220°C, 425°F or gas mark 7 and grease two baking trays.
Step 2
Place margarine and flour in to a bowl and use your finger tips to rib in.
Step 3
Add the cherry's and Marzipan to the mixture and mix in.
Step 4
Add the milk to the mixture and slowly and mix till it forms a dough.
Step 5
Role in to a ball and place on work surfaces with flour lightly spread all over the surfaces before hand.
Step 6
Role out in to a circle and about 1/2 inch (1.5cm) think. Using a cutter of any shape (circle or square work the best) cut out as many scones as you wish.
Step 7
Place on backing tray with 1 inch (2.5ch) gaps between the scones.
Step 8
Put in the oven for 10 - 15 minuets then place on cooling tray to cool and enjoy.
Having butter and cream in the middle makes them even more delicious!
