  • 1 small quantity of butter
  • 100 g of Turkish sweets (Turkish Halwa, plain or almond)
  • 150 g ground almonds
  • 100 g butter
  • 300 g of almond paste, coloured
  • icing sugar for decoration

Preparation

Step 1

Crumble the biscuits and blend the Turkish sweets.

Step 2

In a large bowl.
Mix the biscuit crumbs, the blended Turkish sweets and ground almonds. Slowly incorporate the butter. The mixture must stay compact.

Step 3

Soften the coloured marzipan. Then flatten to make a sheet 5 mm thick.

Step 4

Making a stick with the sweet paste and place in the middle of a strip of marzipan, about 10 cm long.

Step 5

Fold the marzipan into a rectangle and sprinkle with icing sugar.
