Turkish Green Bean Stew

- 250 Grams Fresh Green Beans
- Hot Water
- 1 Medium finely chopped onion
- 1 Table spoons olive oil
- 1 Medium tomato chopped
- 2 Table spoons Tomato paste

Preparation
Step 1
Wash and trim the green beans to your liking (I usually just trim the ends off).
Step 2
Fry the onion in a medium sized pan until soft and slightly brown
Step 3
Add the chopped tomato and the tomato paste and mix well
Step 4
Add the fresh beans and stir well
Step 5
Add enough hot water to cover the beans and mix the contents a little. Add some salt and pepper and bring to boil. Then turn down the heat and cover the pan and cook for 30 min or until beans are well cooked
