Turkish White Bean Stew

- 2 Cups Dried White Beans
- 6 cups of water
- 2 Medium finely chopped onions
- 2 Table spoons olive oil
- 2 Medium tomatos chopped
- 2 Table spoons Tomato paste
- 1 Tablespoon of butter (Optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Fry the onion in the olive oil (you can add butter here for added taste) in a large pressure cooker until soft and put in the chopped tomatos and mix.
Step 2
Add the tomato paste and pour in the beans and stir well.
Step 3
Then add the water, a little bit of salt and pepper and stir.
Close the lid and cook for about 20 minutes or until beans are soft.
For better results and a shorter cooking time it is advised to leave the beans in water over night.
You can also add beef to add some extra flaver, just brown about 200 Grams and mix it with the onions at the start.
Also if you do not have a pressure cooker, you can cook it in a regular pan but will need to add 10-15 minutes to the cooking time (always best to check every few minutes to make sure beans are cook well).
