Ingredients

  • 1 lb cubed raw chicken
  • 1 med onion
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbs olive or veg oil
  • 2 cans (15 oz) white northern beans, drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 can (4 oz) green diced chilis
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 c sour cream
  • ½ c whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté chicken cubes and onion in oil with garlic powder.

Step 2

Add beans, broth, chilies and seasoning.

Step 3

Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 4

Stir in sour cream and whipping cream.

Step 5

Serve with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, avocado, and a squeeze of lime juice.
