Spicy and sweet tomato and onion dip


A dip that works well with popadoms and a curry

  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
  • juice of 1/2 a lemon or lime
  • 1 large onion or 2 medium
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Small handful chopped corriander
  • 1 tbsp curry paste.

Step 1

Chop tomatoes and onion up very small and fine.

Step 2

Add other ingredients and stir in. Add lemon or lime juice gradually so as to judge consistency.

Step 3

Serve as a dip or chutney.

If you don't want the dip to be too sweet, skip the sugar.
