- 100g hard cheese
- 25g butter
- 2 tablespoons of milk

Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 180'C.
Step 2
Wash, peel and chop the potatoes.
Step 3
Put the potatoes into a saucepan and cook on the hob for 20 minutes in boiling water.
Step 4
Once boiled turn down the heat and check the potatoes using the tip of a knife. (if it goes easily into the potatoes then they are done)
Step 5
Mash the potatoes and add the butter, milk, seasonings and cheese (add only half the cheese) and mix.
Step 6
Put the potatoes into a dish and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
Step 7
Put into the oven and cook until the top is golden brown.
Step 8
Serve.
