Preparation

Step 1

Ensure the choice of meat is flat or flatten this yourself in preparation

Step 2

Prepare spicing the meat applying pepper and salt on both sides

Step 3

Prepare 4 plates in the following order for the breading of the meat;
1. For the plain flour
2. for the egg, you can use the egg white only but do add some vegetable oil to this
3. Bread crumbs
4. To place the breaded meat
Haul the meat through the flour on both ends, ensure there is no loose flour by shaking it a bit and move on to the next plate. Repeat the process with the egg, ensure the meat is evenly covered. The same applies to the final step when breading, ensure to shake prior to moving to the final plate where it can rest prior to cooking.
Repeat this process per piece of meat until all have been done.

Step 4

Preheat the frying pan on the hob and add butter, once golden brown it is ready to cook the schnitzel.
Put the schnitzel in and cook both ends for about 7 minutes until crispy

Can be served with a nice salad straight from the plate, some chips as a side dish will make a great combination as well.
Some gypsy sauce will work on this dish too
