- 300ml Basmati Rice
- 600ml Boiling Water
- Knob of Butter
- 5ml Salt

Preparation
Step 1
Wash the rice in a saucepan (optional)
Pour the water over the rice into a saucepan
Step 2
Bring to a boil, add the butter, then immediately reduce to the lowest heat possible
Step 3
Place the lid on the pan. Do not open it!
Step 4
After 17 minutes remove from the heat and leave to sit for 10 more minutes.
Step 5
Your rice is ready to serve.
