Ingredients
- 6ozs Soft Butter
- 6ozs Caster Sugar
- 6ozs Self Raising Flour
- 3 Level Tablespoons Cocoa
- 1 Level Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Water
- 3 Eggs

Preparation
Step 1
Pre heat oven to Gas 4.
Step 2
Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa together.
Step 3
Cream the butter and sugar.
Step 4
Beat in the eggs.
Step 5
Fold in the flour and cocoa mix a little at a time adding the water when the mixture gets a little dry.
Step 6
Divide the mixture between two buttered 7" cake tins and place in the centre of the oven for approx 30min or until the cakes have started to shrink from the sides of the tins.
Step 7
Turn the cakes onto a rack and leave to go cold.
Step 8
When cold fill and ice cake with fudge icing
