  • 450g self-raising flour
  • 100g margarine
  • 225ml milk

Preparation

Step 1

Rub margarine into flour until you get breadcrumbs

Step 2

Make a well in the centre and pour in enough milk to make a fairly soft dough

Step 3

Roll onto floured surface and knead

Step 4

Roll out and cut scones using the top of a cup

Step 5

Place on baking sheet and bake until well risen and golden brown
