Strawberry and vanilla jam

Ingredients
- 1 kg strawberries
- 1 vanilla bean
- 800 g jam sugar (80% of the weight of strawberries)

Preparation
Step 1
Cut the strawberries into small pieces. Place in a pan with 80% of their weight in jam sugar.
Step 2
Cut the vanilla bean in two and extract the grains with a knife. Add the grains and then the pod, split in two in the pan.
Step 3
Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes.
It should start to smell amazing!
Pour into a sterilised jam jar.
Step 4
Close the jam jar tightly and turn upside down. Leave to cool, and enjoy!
