Crème Brulee...aka the one and only dessert I have ever known my father to actually enjoy. As well as the one of many desserts, that I have still yet to master. While I at times have come close to achieving the proper flavour profiles, getting the right consistency of the dessert, will forever remain my Mount Everest . Luckily for my Dad my mum has this French dessert down-pat! When prepared with her parental perfection the dessert melts in your mouth and can tempt even the slightest of sweet-tooth! So I insist, please do not be discouraged by Crème brulee inadequacies and give one of these delicious recipes a try !
