This has so many bananas that it must count as part of the families five a day
- 7oz self raising flour
- 1/4 level tsp. Bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 level tsp. salt
- 3oz butter
- 6oz sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 LB. mashed bananas
- 4oz coarsely chopped nuts

Grease and line an oblong loaf tin, about 21
- 200 g (7 oz) Self-raising Flour
- 1.25 ml (1/4 level tsp) Bicarbonate of Soda
- 2.5 ml (1/2 level tsp) Salt
- 75 g (3 oz) Butter
- 175 g (6 oz) Sugar
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 450 g (1 lb) Bananas, mashed
