Peanut butter fudge

My cousin gave me this recipe so i think it might be a family recipe. Baking tin needed for fudge to set.

Ingredients

  • 125g butter,
  • 500g soft brown sugar,
  • 120ml milk,
  • 250g peanut butter,
  • 1/2 teas vanilla extract,
  • 300g icing sugar.

Preparation

Step 1

line a 20x20cm tin with baking paper.

Step 2

Melt butter in pan ,add brown sugar and milk.

Step 3

Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

Step 4

Boil for 2-3 mins without stirring.

Step 5

Remove from heat,stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract.

Step 6

Put icing sugar in a bowl, pour in hot mixture and beat with wooden spoon until smooth.

Step 7

Spoon in to tin and cool.

Step 8

Keeps in fridge for up to a week.

wait till fugde is cooled then cut into square chunks.
