  • 225g butter room temp
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 1 egg yolk splash of milk
  • 280g plain flor
  • .5 tablespoon of vanilla

Step 1

work together the sugar and salt getting in with your hands is always the best option

Step 2

mix in flour adding egg yolk and a slpah of milk and vanilla as you go to bring it all together it may seem a little soggy it does just sprinkle with a little more flour just to bring it out the bowl

Step 3

wrap in cling film and chill for 30 to 60 minutes untill nice and cold

Step 4

remove from fridge work a little with hands and rolll out on a floured surface cut into desired shapes using cookies cutters

Step 5

place onto baking tray covered with baking paper sprinkle slightly with icing sugar

Step 6

bake at 180 degrees for 12 mins or untill slightly golden

lovely with whipped cream and strawberrys
