Quick Chocolate 'Cup' Cake

For those that don't have much time to bake or want something sweet quickly but not the hassle of weighing out and waiting for it to cook.

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Self raising flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1& 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp chocolate syrup ( can use the ice-cream syrup)
  • 2 tsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 soft caramel candies
  • 1 Cup

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the eggs

Step 2

Add all other ingredients (except the candies) and mix into a batter

Step 3

Pour into a cup and place into the microwave

Step 4

cook on high for 2 mins (800w)

Step 5

Take out and using a knife (doesn't have to be sharp) make a hole in the middle to about half way down and push in the candies

Step 6

Return to the microwave for 40 secs

This can be made in the cup.
Serve by itself or with, cream, ice-cream or even custard
