- 5 carrots
- small turnip
- 1 large leek
- 4 onions
- 3 potatoes
- small piece of shin beef (hough)
- parsley

Step 1
Dissolve stock cubes in boiling water.
Step 2
Grate half the vegetables (not leek).
Step 3
Chop half the vegetables (not leek).
Step 4
Slice and dice leek.
Cook at medium heat.
Step 5
Cut up meat into small pieces.
Step 6
Bring to the boil.
Step 7
Simmer for 1 hr.
Step 8
Chop parsley for serving.
