Grilled grapefruit with brown sugar and thyme

Step 1

Preheat the oven grill.

Step 2

Cut the grapefruit in half and gently pry the segments from the skin, but do not remove them completely.

Step 3

Sprinkle each half with brown sugar, drizzle with a teaspoon of olive oil and rub a sprig of thyme between your hands over them.

Step 4

Place the grapefruit under the grill for 5 minutes and allow to caramelise. Serve immediately!
