- 750g Stewing Steak
- 60g Seasoned Flour
- 3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 Med Onions Chopped
- 1 Large Potato Chopped
- 2 Med Carrots Chopped
- 1 Med Green Pepper Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Large Tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Puree
- 1 Tablespoon Mixed Herbs
- 200ml Beef Stock
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
Beef Goulash

Melt the fat, add onions, steak, potatoes and mushrooms
- 1oz dripping or lard
- 2medium onions, sliced
- 1lb stewing steak, cubed
- 8oz potatoes, thickly sliced
- 4oz button mushrooms
- 1/2oz plain flour
- 2tsp paprika
- 3 tomatoes, skinned and sliced
- salt and pepper

- 1/4pt oxo stock

Preheat the oven to 150C
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- knob of butter
- 700g good quality beef sausages, chopped
- 300g spicy chorizo sausage, chopped
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 red chillies, finely chopped
- 1 red pepper, finely sliced
- 200ml beef stock
- 175ml soured cream
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
