Follow this easy recipe for shop-like results, at home!
- 1 kg pickling cucumbers
- 240 ml apple cider vinegar
- 240 ml water
- 2 tbsp salt
- 6 cloves of garlic (2 for one jar)
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp dill seeds (per jar)
- 1/2 tsp black peppercorns

- A few slices of bacon
- 1 kg of cooked new potatoes
- 500 g of dried meats like prosciutto

Sweet Mustard Pickles

Stand vegetables 4 hours in salt water, then drain
- 2 qt cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 qt onion, thinly sliced
- red and green peppers, cut small
- 1/2 C salt water
- 5 C vinegar
- 1 C flour
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp mustard seed
- 5 C sugar
- 1/2 C mustard
- 2 tsp celery seed

- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds/jeera
