Beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture appears pale yellow and thick.
Add in vanilla and mix well.
In another bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking powder and ground nutmeg together.
Mix 1/3 of flour mixture into the egg mixture. After that, mix in a portion of milk and butter. After that repeat the process by adding the flour and mix. Do this until all ingredients are incorporated.
Cover with a plastic wrap and let it sit for 30min.
When the batter becomes firmer, roll the batter flat. Make sure the workplace is dusted with flour.
Cut the dough into doughnut shape using a mold.
Deep fry the doughnuts until golden brown.
Top the doughnuts with icing sugar or your favorite chocolate dips.
