Lemon Fudge


A Lovely treat. That makes a fantastic present!

  • 200g Sugar
  • 120ml Milk
  • 3TBSP Golden Syrup
  • 25g Butter
  • 2TBSP Lemon Juice (Better if fresh)

Step 1

In a pan melt the butter on a low heat.

Step 2

Then add the sugar, milk and golden syrup. Stir constantly so it doesn't burn or crystalize.

Step 3

Add the lemon juice, when the sugar has fully dissolved. Keep stirring.

Step 4

Leave to cool down until it stops boiling. While it is cooling, grease a small tin.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into the tin, while it is still hot. Leave this to cool to room temperature. Then place in the fridge.

Step 6

Once solidified, cut the fudge into squares, the size is your choice, but I prefer to make them around 1-2cm cubed.


Keep stirring.
If you want a more lemony flavour add more lemon juice.
