- 2 Med Onions roughly chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Med Curry Powder
- 1 oz Plain Flour
- Teaspoon English Mustard
- 300 ml Chicken Stock
- 1 oz Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Melt the butter in a heavy bottom saucepan under a medium heat, add the onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until translucent
Step 2
Add the garlic and cook for a further minute
Step 3
Sprinkle on the flour and curry powder, cook for a further 2 minutes
Step 4
Slowly add the Chicken Stock until the sauce starts to thicken.
Step 5
Bring to the boil and lightly simmer for 10 minutes stirring until cooked through (add more stock/water during cooking to achieve the desired thickness)
Great basic sauce to use with Chicken, Smoked Sausage, Chips!!
Can be frozen for up to 3 months
