Ingredients

  • 8oz tin salmon
  • 1/2oz gelatine
  • 3tbsp hot water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4pt mayonnaise
  • 1/2pt evaporated milk
  • lettuce and cucumber to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve gelatine in hot water.

Step 2

Mash salmon well after removing any skin and bones.

Step 3

Mix with mayonnaise and season well.

Step 4

Fold in stiffly whipped evaporated milk and gelatine.

Step 5

Pour into wetted mould.

Step 6

Once set, tip out and garnish with lettuce and cucumber.
