Ingredients

  • 12 ounce mixed fruit
  • 4 ounce sugar
  • 4 ounce marg
  • 1/4 pt water
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 8 ounce SR flour

Preparation

Step 1

Put fruit, sugar, marg and water into a pan. Simmer for 10 mins.

Step 2

Cool

Step 3

Add beaten egg then flour and mix well

Step 4

Place mixture into 6-7" cake tin and cook in the middle of oven for 1 hour 30 mins. Gas mark 2-3

Step 5

Cool the decorate as desired
