Boo's Best Basic Biscuit


Quick and easy biscuit recipe, can be used for large and small buscuit cutters/shapes.

  • 150g Plain Flour
  • 100g Butter
  • 50g Sugar
  • (makes 12 small biscuits)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180*C/Gas Mark 4
Grease a baking tray (lightly)

Step 2

Sift flour into a large mixing bowl.
Add sugar
Add butter

Step 3

Rub butter in bringing the mix together

Step 4

Flour a flat surface
Roll out the mixture (to about quarter inch/6mm thick)
Cut with cookie cutter or use a glass to make shape
Use a palette knife (something very flat and thin) to put them onto greased baking tray.

Step 5

Bake for about 15 minutes/until golden
