Creamy chicken with leeks and bacon


Goes great with Yorkshire puddings

  • 300ml single cream
  • 1 leek
  • 1 large white onion
  • 2 chicken breast
  • handful of frozen peas
  • 1 crushed garlic clove

Step 1

Fry chicken in a small amount of oil until sealed

Step 2

Add bacon, garlic, onions and leek and fry until leek is soft

Step 3

Add cream and peas then simmer until thickened. Season to taste

Make it into a pie by following recipe and then topping with pastry and popping in the oven at 180-200c until pastry is cooked

Use double cream for a thicker sauce
