French Bread Pizza
By 12LuDo
This recipe is great for using up leftovers, so it's very economical. It's fun and easy to make and children can design their own, so it's great for fussy eaters. If you don't have french bread, try substituting for pitta bread.

Preparation
Step 1
We used the end of a cooked ham joint, chopped into pieces, half a tin of left over pineapple and an onion, roughly chopped. However you can add pretty much anything you need to use up, such as bacon, sweetcorn, tuna, peppers, chicken, sausage, tomatoes, to name but a few! Go nuts!
Step 2
The base is just a french stick, chopped in half, and then sliced length ways, with tomato puree spread thickly, before adding the toppings. Oh, and don't forget the grated cheese on top!
Step 3
When you've perfected your culinary creation, place on a lightly greased baking tray and bake in a moderate oven for around 15 mins, or until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
