Chicken in cream and bacon sauce


This is a dinner that will taste like you have spent hours preparing when in reality its been minutes!

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 chicken stock pot
  • 2 slices of bacon diced
  • 4 mushrooms sliced
  • 2oz ob butter
  • 125 mls double cream

Step 1

1/2 fill a pan with water and bring to the boil, add the stock pot and the chicken simmer for 20 mins

Step 2

melt the butter in a small frying pan add the bacon and mushrooms and sautee until cooked, add a ladle full of the chicken stock and then the cream simmer until reduced and slightly thickened.

Step 3

Take the chicken out of the stock put on a plate and cover with the sauce serve over pasta, with potatoes and veg, rice whatever takes your fancy
