Maltesers Millionaire's Shortbread

  • 180 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 150 g dark soft brown sugar
  • 397 g can of condensed milk
  • 200 g milk chocolate
  • 135 g Maltesers

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 C.

Step 2

Line a 20 cm shallow square cake tin with non-stick baking paper.

Step 3

Blend flour, butter and sugar.

Step 4

Press mix into tin.

Step 5

Bake 30 mins.

Step 6

Heat butter and sugar in pan, stirring until melted.
Add condensed milk, stirring continuously until slightly thick.
Pour over shortbread base immediately.

Step 7

Melt chocolate, let it cool slightly, then opur over the set caramel.
Top with Maltesers.
Leave to set, then cut into squares.
