Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 onions
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 250ml vegetable stock
- 400g tin of red kidney beans
- 400g tin of cannellini beans
- 1 bay leaf
- 75g raisins
- 225g mushrooms
- wholemeal bread to serve

Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions and garlic
Step 2
Fry over a gentle heat for 10 minutes
Step 3
Add the red wine vinegar, tomatoes, tomato puree, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, mustard, sugar and vegetable stock
Step 4
Mix thoroughly
Step 5
Add the beans, bay leaf and raisins
Step 6
Bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes
Step 7
Add the mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes
Step 8
Serve immediately with bread
