This simple Italian meat ball recipe is made with ready made meatballs and a jar of tomato sauce

  • 1 packet meat balls
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 jar Tomato and Basil sauce
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped)
  • ½ small red pepper (diced)
  • ½ small green pepper (diced)
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • a few shavings of parmesan cheese
  • 1 packet fresh spaghetti

Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7

  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 350g pack turkey mince
  • 4 large potatoes, skin on and cut into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 400g can cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 350g thin-stemmed broccoli
  • bunch basil leaves, shredded

Mince the garlic, dice the onion, and chop the parsley

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
