Biryani

Pre-heat the oven to 200C
- 2 tbsps oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tbsp ginger
- 3 tbsps curry paste
- 3 large tomatoea, roughly chopped
- 300g cooked chicken
- few nigella seeds
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- salt
- pepper
- pilau rice
- coriande
- toasted flaked almonds
- 1 red onion, finely chopped and fried
- handful of roasted cashews
- sprinkle of mustard seeds
Egg bhurji

Beat eggs in a bowl. with salt and red chilli powder
- 4 Eggs
- • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder (optional)
- • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
- • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- • 1/4 Cup frozen green peas (or cooked peas)
- • 1 Chopped onion
- • 2 Chopped green chillies
- • 1 Chopped tomato
- • Chopped fresh coriander (optional)
- • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- • Salt to taste

Grind together onions, coriander leaves and green chilli into a paste
- 5 eggs; boiled and cut or slit,
- 2 small onions,
- 1 cup coriander leaves,
- 1 tomato; pureed,
- 1 green chilli,
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste,
- 1/2 tsp dhania (coriander) powder,
- 1/2 tsp garam masala,
- Salt to taste,
- Oil,
- Water.
