- diced yam
- minced garlic
- sliced onions
- dried shrimp
- rice
- salt
- light soy sauce
- dark soy sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Soak the dried shrimp in water before cooking.
Step 2
Stir-fry dried shrimp, garlic and onion until the aroma comes out.
Step 3
Add in the yam and stir-fry a while.
Step 4
Add in uncooked rice and mix well.
Step 5
Add in pinch of salt, little amount of dark soy sauce and adequate amount of light soy sauce.
Step 6
Mix well and cook for a while.
Step 7
Transfer everything to the rice cooker, add water and cook until it's done.
The proportion of rice to water is 1:2.
