Preparation

Step 1

Make a cheese sandwich.

Step 2

Beat the eggs in a dish big enough to hold the sandwich comfortably.

Step 3

Lay the sandwich in the beaten egg. Turn the sandwich over to coat the other side.

Step 4

Heat the frying pan and add a little oil if needed. Place the sandwich in the pan and pour any excess egg over the top.

Step 5

When the side in the pan has browned, turn over to brown the other side.

Step 6

Check that the cheese has melted and both sides are browned.

Step 7

Serve with pickle, chutney or sauce and enjoy.
