Chewy Double Chococlate Chip Cookies

These yummy cookies are almost like brownies, with a mouth-watering soft texture!
Chewy chocolate chip cooking, packing a double chocolate punch! More like brownies rather than chocolate cookies!
Ingredients
- 200g softened butter
- 300g soft brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 300g self raising flour
- 80g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 300g choc chips

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Mix butter and sugar in a large bowl and beat in the vanilla extract and eggs.
Step 3
In a another bowl, sift the cocoa, flour and baking soda.
Step 4
Gradually add the butter/sugar mix to the dry mix.
Add the chocolate chips and mix.
Step 5
Roll balls of the mixture onto a baking tray, repeat until the cookie mixture has been used up.
Step 6
Bake for 12 minutes.
The cookies will be soft when taken out of the oven.
Leave them to cool on a wire rack.. maybe sneak one into your mouth while waiting - but be careful, they're still hot!
