Ingredients
- 125g butter softened
- 100g light brown soft sugar
- 125g caster sugar
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 225g self raising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 200g chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Pre heat oven to 180ºC, gas mark 4.
Step 2
Cream the butter and both sugars together. Once creamed combine in the egg and vanilla extract.
Step 3
Sift in the flour and salt. Then add chocolate chips.
Step 4
Roll into walnut size balls.
Step 5
Place on ungreased baking paper. Bake for 7 minutes and leave to cool before removing from paper. Leave in for up to 10 minutes depending how hard you like them, but for the real Millies experience 7-9 minutes is the best.
